Pearl of Health was created by Erica McPhee to provide information and direction to those first learning about homeopathy.
Erica graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire in 1991, with a BA in Communication. She worked as a sr. human resource & executive compensation analyst before leaving the corporate world to start her own lettering and design business at home while raising her children. While her design work rapidly gained favor among celebrities and high society for elaborate hand-lettered invitations and social correspondence, at the same time her young son was diagnosed with autism. This began a life-changing journey which led her to study homeopathy after her son’s dramatic recovery using a homeopathic remedy under the care of Nancy Frederick, R.S. Hom. (NA), CCH, HMC
Erica has been studying, researching, and writing about homeopathy since 2003. She studied at Baylight Center for Homeopathy in Portland, Maine, as well as completing David Little’s Homeopathic Online Education, and under the tutelage of Dr. Luc DeSchepper (now retired). While she does not have an active practice, she enjoys plenty of opportunities to continue her love and study of homeopathy while helping family and friends.
She resides in southwest Florida with her husband, children, and two cats.
